At CSFA, we celebrate our smachot (happy occasions) together. Members and friends alike often sponsor a kiddush (shabbat meal) on these occasions: An upcoming marriage, a birthday, a yahrzeit, or many other reasons or no reason at all. There are many good reasons to sponsor a Shabbat kiddush here — and no good reasons not to.
